The figurative work seen on this website explores intimate personal narratives as well as social commentary. Careers in Illustration and Animation form the foundation of these pieces. Trained at Brandeis University in Boston, Art Center College of Design in California, Harvard University, the University of Iowa, the Art Students League in New York, and Canada’s Sheridan Collage, I’ve studied a variety of visual disciplines including painting, printmaking, and computer animation. I live in Los Angeles, California.

Having participated in prestigious Fine Art exhibitions in Los Angeles’s Tag Gallery, Japan’s Chuba City Museum of Art, the 825 Gallery, as well as The Society of Illustrators in New York, my work as been published by the New Yorker Magazine, The New York Times, Newsweek, Puffin Books, Time, and Scholastic Magazines.

I have a passion for bold image-making and storytelling and a formal interest in design and surface quality.
